All of the community coaches are experienced FA and other national governing bodies qualified coaches who are CRB cleared, MK coach registered, trained in child protection, trained in first aid and attend ongoing staff development workshops organised by MK Dons and other national governing bodies.
Early Birds and Late Nights – where children can be dropped off early and collected late each day and play with a wide range of activities from a Nintendo Wii, to Kwik Cricket Sets (8.30am – 5.30pm).
Multi Sports Camps – children aged 7 – 14 years are given the chance to play football as well as take part in various other sports
Mini Kicker’s – This course is for children aged 4-6. These sessions are based around the basic fundamentals of football developing agility, balance & co-ordination. All sessions are fun and enjoyable and give the children a great introduction into football.
Pro Camp - This course is available for children aged between 7-14. All sessions are structured to get the best out of the children. On these courses the coaches concentrate on the more technical and tactical aspects of the game. All courses are run in a safe and friendly environment.
Whilst attending the football courses children will learn the techniques involved in playing football which include, dribbling, passing, shooting and running with the ball amongst others. These exciting courses also take place at other venues outside of Milton Keynes, these include, Buckingham, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, Bicester, Roade & Bedford.
Look out for the MK Dons mascots Mooie & Donny or the First Team players who regularly take time out of their busy training programme to visit SET participants for question and answer sessions on being professional footballers, autograph signings and photos pending their availability.
