Build The Game (Under £20,000)

The Build the Game scheme provides small grants for small facility projects.  The scheme has flexible criteria and there are many eligible items, so long as it is the right project for the right applicant. All projects must demonstrate they can support the growth and retention of grassroots football.

 The maximum grant available via this scheme is £20,000 and there is no upper limit to the total cost of the project.

While the Foundation will never pay more than 90% towards the cost of a project, the average level of grant we provide is 50%. Applicants must demonstrate a financial need for grant aid and contribute all of their own available money to the project. Financial contributions from other funding organisations are also expected.

The Football Foundation aim to turn-around applications within a 12 week period.

The Football Foundation will not consider projects associated with on-going maintenance/running costs of a facility/pitch.
