BOBI League

The BOBi League (Berks, Oxon & Bucks inclusive League) kicked off their second season during World Mental Health Week with this seasons new Premiership division which caters for mental health service users and associated illnesses.

The day was well supported and games were closely fought. At the top of the table sit Aylesbury Academicals closely followed by fellow teams, the championship is all to play for with 5 more central venue fixture dates to be played.

The league is a pan-disability league and has a number of clubs from Berks, Bucks & Oxfordshire taking part with a near-by Northamptonshire Club Northampton Town also involved in the league.

The league’s profile has been raised in recent weeks from Reading Football Club at their home matches in programmes, local press in Oxfordshire and Mix 96 radio in Buckinghamshire. This coverage and success of the league is still attracting new teams.
