The prestigious event took place with over 80 people from around Berkshire & Buckinghamshire. Guests ranged from referees, club coaches to administrators and as well as the range in duties, the age range was also extensive with young volunteers and people who have given 50 Years or more service to the game.
With 4 categories and 11 winners on the night, Berks & Bucks FA paid tribute to some of the great work achieved by the local football public. Most notably Michael Judd of Stony Stratford Town and Deborah Wyatt. Michael was awarded with the Volunteer of the Year Award and also won The FA South East Regional equivalent and Deborah was previously honoured at the National Respect Awards with the Bobby Moore Award for Individual Contribution to Football.
Moretonville Junior were winners of the Charter Standard Development Club Award. Wolverton Tigermoths and Wargrave Girls picked up the Respect boys and girls team Awards respectively.
Individual awards were given out to the following, Conor Southgate of Thatcham (Representative Honours), Amy Cobbler of Holy Trinity Junior (Young Volunteer of the Year), David Caswell of Woodley Saints (Coach of the Year).
Finally, of course without referees there would be no football and with that said Berks & Bucks FA named their Referee Achievement of the Year Awards that went to, Lauren Tuxford of Buckingham (Female Referee), Ryan Dix of Milton Keynes (Young Referee) and Adrian Gillett of Aylesbury (Male Referee).
