About My Role
I've been in post as girls and women's FDO since 2002, I've seen girls football develop dramatically in Bucks, I spend a lot of time supporting clubs and schools to develop more participation for girls. I work closely with both the girls and women's county leagues to try and improve standards of players, coaches, officials and general running of the female game. I manage the County Representative side and support the set up of social women's sessions to get more adult females back playing.
About Me
I did not start playing football until I was 23 and without any experience quite quickly took over the running of the club I'd joined, at the time it was a bit of a joke, little did I know 14 years down the line that decision would have drastically changed my career direction and life in general! I quickly completed level 1, 2, and B licence coaching badges. I currently Chair that same local female football club, I manage / coach their U10's & U14's & senior team and I'm pretty happy with that providing people find my antics useful.
When I'm not doing football (Saturday afternoons only) I shop, golf, failing dismally with DIY, and gardening!!
