About My Role
I became the County Referee Development Officer in June 2008, tasked with the training and retention of new Referees and also with the development and retention of those Referees who have been with the County for various lengths of times.
Now the restructuring in Refereeing at the FA has been completed, I can now go about delivering a more sustainable and dynamic approach to the development of all Referees, and to meeting all their needs.
I do understand the trials and tribulations of all Referees, at all levels of grassroots football, and still actively officiate on Sunday mornings, so do still see what is going on, within the Counties park football.
My aim in conjunction with the FA vision is to have as many matches covered, by well prepared, professional and badged Referees who are in the game to gain maximum enjoyment from the hobby that they have chosen to participate in.
About Me
I was born on the 5th January 1972 in Luton. Married to Angela with three children Melissa 10, Lauren 7 and Kasey 2 and live in Buckingham.
Took up Refereeing in 1999 as a way of staying in the game after injury curtailed playing career, and have so far attained a Level 3 status and officiates on Contributory and Panel leagues, my ambition is to reach the Football League.
My other hobbies include playing cricket in the summer, attempting to play golf, my handicap have been my attempts!!!
I also enjoys spending time with his family and friends and when if possible watching Luton Town, as an avid supporter.
