About My Role
I have been employed by the Berks and Bucks for just over 2 years in the Discipline/Governance department. My main duty is dealing with the discipline payments. Having previously worked in Accountancy for ten years I thought a move to this new challenge closer to home would make life easier as I thought nothing could be more complex than Accountancy, WRONG! I was and still am surprised by what you need to know, as I am one of the oldest in the office my brain is no longer the sponge it was and things take longer to absorb. I enjoy working in the department I am in as we all get on well, we have a good laugh and sometimes the odd cry.
About Me
On a personal level I enjoy the usual hobbies of gardening, cooking, walking my 2 Jack Russell terriers and delegating DIY projects to my partner! We have a 5 year old daughter called Lorna who started school this year,she takes up alot of our spare/home time and money!
